The Newcomers November meeting was held at Teas Nursery where Jill Smith, Calvin Starr, Katherine Brown, Sandra Higham and Holly Huston all gave presentations on growing orchids for beginners.  We had a huge group of Newcomers attending, and everyone brought something special to eat as we watched the presentations.  After the presentations, everyone participated in repotting hundred of orchids donated by Marvin and Renee Gerber, Bill Bartlett, Doug Harris, Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Davis and Lee Gundlach.  Holly Huston also donated plants, the potting mix and small pots.  WOW! What a great way to end the year for the 2006 Newcomers Group.
