We had a great turnout for the January Newcomers meeting with approximately thirty people participating!  John and Sandy

   Stubbings, owners of Clown Alley Orchids, were great hosts as John talked about orchid culture and showed us how to re-pot

   orchids.  John  generously donated Cattleya seedlings, potting mix and pots for all the Newcomers to pot their seedling of choice.  It

   was a beautiful day and Clown Alley Orchids has a beautiful greenhouse with very clean and healthy orchids for sale as well. If you

   haven't been to Clown Alley Orchids you are missing out!  We thank Sandra Higham for furnishing soft drinks and Mary Bahn and

   Claudia Ludwig, our mentors, for their assistance.
